Maldivian Ambassador to the Saudi Arabia.

DG of NCTC Brig. Gen. Zakariyyaa Mansoor met the Maldivian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia His Excellency Abdulla Hameed.

In the meeting DG expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for the excellent arrangement and hospitality given to NCTC team during the Saudi study to learn lessons from Saudi counter terrorism and counter radicalization effort.

In the meeting, the developments that took place in the terrorism and radicalism environment was briefed to the Ambassador. Ambassador was also briefed on the threat environment of Maldives as well as actions taken at different levels to minimize the threat. The assistance needed from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as from the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition was also discussed in the meeting.
