Director General NCTC Brig. Gen. Zakariyya Mansoor met the former Deputy Commissioner of Police COL. Ret. Abdul Shukoor Abdulla.

Brigadier General Zakariyya Mansoor welcomed and expressed gratitude for the Deputy Commissioner’s contribution to Maldives in making the Maldives a safe and secure place. He also expressed his gratitude for reducing the threats of radicalism, extremism and terrorism during his tenure as a senior official of law enforcement.

During the meeting Brigadier General Zakariyya Mansoor provided an overview of the recent programs conducted by the National Counter Terrorism Centre and the national Collaborative effort to prevent and counter the spread radicalization and violent extremism.
