Director General of National Counter Terrorism Centre, Brigadier General Zakariyya Mansoor participates in the United Nations High-Level Conference of Heads of Counter Terrorism Agencies of member States.

This conference is an initiative of the UN Secretary General. This is the first such conference of the UN and its main aim is to foster relations between member states and to pool expertise, resources and ideas to fight back against the growing scourge of international terrorism. Topics of discussion during the seminar would be on, Counter Terrorism and Counter Violent Extremism Strategies of member states and also on ways and means of strengthening the CT & CVE mechanisms of member states and collaboration between member states. It would also give the National Level Organisations a chance to show their unity and learn best practices of other member nations. Vladimir Voronkov, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Office, would chair most of the sessions and would addresses the conference.

The conference would conclude on 29th June 2018 in the United Nations Head Quarters.
